Bulletin Board: Bill Noyes sinks hole-in-one at Northfield Golf Course

Bill Noyes recorded a hole-in-one on Wednesday at Northfield Golf Course, sinking the ace on the par 3 sixth hole using a 5 wood. 

It was Noyes’ fourth career ace and was witnessed by Larry Petrin, Rick Stempel and John Paresky. 

Thomas Women’s League

The Thomas Memorial Women's Golf League opened their season on Wednesday, with Deb Cote, Sally Malloy, Donna McKemmie and Jenn Murphy winning a four person scramble with a score of 33. 

Murphy won closest to the pin on No. 7 (9 feet, 3 inches).

Lundgren Honda 7, Liberty Tax 3 — Josiah Viveiros (triple, single, two RBI), Brooks Williams (hit, RBI) and Brock Puchalski (three hits, two RBI) led Lundgren to a victory in AAA action Wednesday. 

Theo Schulte had two hits while Gavin Marshall-Hamberg and Ben Trombley each had a hit for Liberty.
