Bulletin Board: Franklin Tech takes down Hopkins in Franklin Tech Girls Summer Basketball League

Ariel Peters scored six points, Abi Dobias and Samantha Duncan both recorded five points, Madyson Lynde tallied three points while Jordyn Gilmore added two points in Franklin Tech’s 23-21 victory over Hopkins on Tuesday in a Franklin Tech Girls Summer Basketball League contest.

Sophia Jagodzinski finished with nine points, Laney Crutch scored eight points and Daniella Valle-Dardanelles added two points for the Golden Hawks.

Athol 23, Greenfield 17 — Natalie Lanoue led the way with 12 points, Ava Adams tossed in five points, Abby Spooner scored four points and Evelyn King added two points in the Bears’ win over the Green Wave Tuesday.

Kayden Viencek scored seven points, Annie Cobielanschi tallied six points and Sofia Ruggeri scored four points for Greenfield.

Keene 41, Mahar 20 — Harper Zalaski scored 19 points, Izzy Payne finished with 10 points and Sara Heon added seven points in the Blackbirds’ victory on Tuesday.

Hayden Comeau led the way with 12 points, Marley Patridge scored three points while Taylor Paluk and Stasi Sanders each scored two points for the Senators.

Pioneer 29, Ware 23 — Kyler McClelland tossed in 15 points, Jaelyn Boliski scored five points, Deveney Pillsbury finished with four points, Maggie Tsipenyuk tallied three points and Dasia Mitchell added two points in the Panthers’ victory on Tuesday.

Reese McKeever scored nine points and Gloria Koran added eight points for Ware.

DRIVE League

Parker Hickey tallied 27 points while Caleb Murray added 19 points in Future Unlimited’s 92-78 victory over Bruso Computer Solutions on Monday in a Men’s League contest of the DRIVE League at Greenfield High School.

Mike Menard scored 18 points and Billy Galipeau added 17 points in the loss.

After, 413 Elite took down FC Ballers, 82-60, behind 20 points from Andrew Ciaglo and 11 points from Darnell Wright. James Fitzgibbons put up 27 points and Dyward Jackson added 11 points in the defeat.

To close out the night, Alex Parker-Jennings tallied 19 points and Oakley Meyer added 16 points in Brattleboro’s 75-61 triumph over Rattigan and Sons. Malachi Roman finished with 12 points and Cedric Guzman scored 11 points in the loss.

In JV action over at Stoneleigh Burnham on Monday, Zaviay Reynolds scored 13 points and Anthony Bergstrom added seven points in Greenfield’s 36-30 win over Easthampton. Forrest Austin scored six points for the Eagles.

The second JV game saw Noah Dwell put up 33 points and Landon Zium score 23 points in Brattleboro’s 75-36 triumph over Turners Falls. Ty Newton scored 11 points in the loss.

The final game saw Orange take down Athol, 43-34, behind 15 points from Isban Coburn and nine points from Lee Cruz. Brody Adams scored 26 points for the Bears.

Adult softball

Liberty Tax Sharks 26, Farmers United 11 — Che Christi doubled four times, homered and drove in four, Trevor Thomas had five hits including a triple and two home runs to go along with five RBIs, Juan Vera had four hits including two homers and four RBIs and Heather Gibson added three hits and two RBIs in the Sharks’ victory Tuesday.

Michael Dobias doubled twice, singled and drove in two, Nino Rodriguez had three hits including a home run and drove in two while Charlotte Freeman added two hits in the loss.

Golf

CCG results

Terry Boyce and Phil Reilley shot the low gross of 67 in a Guys and Dolls Scramble at Country Club of Greenfield Tuesday.

Jess Lapachinski and Tom Helbig placed second (69) while Teresa Varner and Mark Kennedy took third (70). Anne Corrinet and Phil Corrinet shot the low net (59) followed by Susan Parker and Gordon Parker (60), Michele Hazlett and Frank McDonald (61) and Ann McHugh and Kevin Courtney (61).
