The Western Massachusetts Soccer Officials Association is seeking new referees for the upcoming fall season. WMSOA members officiate private and public school soccer matches in Hampshire and Franklin County.

The scholastic soccer season begins at the beginning of September and concludes in the middle of November. Instruction of new members is offered at convenient times during August. All WMSOA members must register annually with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association and pass a background check conducted by the MIAA.

Anyone who is interested in becoming a scholastic referee should contact WMSOA president Dan Peters at danp17@yahoo.com or 413-387-5105.
