Franklin County’s YMCA closed due to broken water main

GREENFIELD — Franklin County’s YMCA closed on Friday due to a broken water main pipe, with repairs anticipated for Monday, July 29.

Water to the YMCA has been shut off so the repairs can be completed. The YMCA will reopen as soon as water is restored to the building.

In the meantime, all activities being held at 451 Main St. are canceled until further notice. All group exercise classes, gymnastics classes, team practices, pool time and swim lessons are canceled for the weekend. Gymnastics Camp and Y Academy on Main preschool will be closed on Monday.
