GREENFIELD — In an effort to stimulate the local economy, Gagne Wealth Management Group has partnered with the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce to launch the first-ever Gagne Wealth Gift Card promotion. With a $10,000 donation, the initiative will inject more than $20,000 into small businesses across Franklin County.

On Wednesday, May 7, Gagne Wealth Management Group will match every $25 Franklin County Gift Card purchase, giving customers $50 in spending power and doubling the card’s impact across local shops, restaurants and service providers.

“Programs like this remind us that supporting local doesn’t have to be complicated. When we come together — businesses, nonprofits, residents — we can create real economic change,” Jessye Deane, executive director of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement. “This is a chance to give a gift with purpose and make our money matter more.”

“By powering local prosperity through this initiative, we hope to encourage neighbors to rally around the small businesses that keep our downtowns vibrant and our economy strong,” Merrill Gagne, founder of Gagne Wealth Management Group, said in a statement. “It’s not just a gift card — it’s an investment in Franklin County’s future. If this promotion helps more folks shop local, try a new place or support a neighbor, then we’ve done something good together.”

Gift cards can be purchased online through a dedicated Gagne Wealth Management Group checkout page on the chamber’s website, where a $25 bonus is automatically added to a single $25 e-gift card at checkout. Gift cards are also available by calling 413-773-5463, in person at the chamber office at 79 Old Main St. in Deerfield, and at a pop-up sale at the Greenfield Farmers Cooperative Exchange on Thursday, May 8, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., if they are still available.
