Monday, June 2

8:46 a.m. — Brandon L. Dickinson, 40, of Greenfield, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant.

1:12 p.m. — Reporting party complaining about speeders near Brook Road, requesting traffic enforcement. Party upset because she states she has called multiple times to complain about vehicles speeding on her street and nothing has been done. Requesting to speak with an officer.

1:51 p.m. — Caller from Colrain Road has questions about a check she received in the mail. Found to be a false check from Publishers Clearing House.

9:35 p.m. — Caller from Armory Street reports a small black car is circling the block and someone inside is yelling profanities. Had something black in his hand, states there are multiple people in the car. Unable to locate vehicle.

Tuesday, June 3

9:07 a.m. — Caller from Chapman Court states her brother and his girlfriend are arguing and he is just trying to get his stuff from the apartment. Helped male move the TV and other belongings into an Uber. Peaceful exit. Report issued.

2:09 p.m. — Mail carrier on his regular route reports seeing a suspicious vehicle turn around in the area of Holly Avenue and Myrtle Street. Vehicle was driving back and forth multiple times. Could not locate.

3:13 p.m. — Lorie Ann Clarke, 45, of School Street in Greenfield, was arrested at Oak Courts on a warrant.

6:03 p.m. — William Francis Timothy Brown, 41, of Grove Street in Greenfield, was arrested on two warrants.

10:05 a.m. — Reporting party states a male party dropped a glass bong near the Greenfield Common. The glass broke and when he asked him to clean it up, the male party “threatened” him by saying “what are you going to do about it old man.” Department of Public Works was called to clean up the broken glass. Reporting party states he reacted strongly to the threat, but is calmer now.

12:10 p.m. — Reporting party from Pond Street requesting to speak to an officer regarding shared parking. Provided reporting party with options. Services rendered.

2:35 p.m. — Reporting party is very upset that she is the only person who got a $25 parking ticket in a “15-minute only” parking spot near the Greenfield Public Library Library/Franklin County’s YMCA. States there were other vehicles near her that were parked there longer and they did not get tickets. Caller also states she knew she shouldn’t have parked there because she was going to be longer than 15 minutes, but did so anyway. She will be coming to the station to appeal.

3:49 p.m. — Two baby black and white Nigerian goats, less than 1 week old, were taken from the area of Adams Road and Lovers Lane sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Report taken.

8:30 p.m. — After a traffic stop on Wells and Grove streets, Thomas Robert Evans, 22, of Keene, New Hampshire, was arrested on charges of motor vehicle brakes violation, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of a large-capacity firearm, possession of a large-capacity firearm in a felony, possession of ammunition without an FID card, trafficking in 36 grams or more/less than 100 grams of cocaine, and carrying a firearm without a license.

9:12 p.m. — Report of vandalism at Auto Zone on Federal Street. Male party smashed the window and then left heading south on Federal Street. Male party was upset because he did not arrive to pick up parts prior to the store closing for the day. According to employees, he knocked on the door angrily, causing the glass to break. He also allegedly kicked trash cans into the parking lot. Andrew D. Leblanc, 24, of Granby, was arrested on charges of vandalizing property (two counts) and disorderly conduct.

Thursday, June 5

10:11 a.m. — Bus company called to report a vehicle passed a school bus that had its lights flashing on Colrain Road. Verbal warning given to the driver, who was compliant and admitted to the infraction.

10:27 a.m. — Plants reported stolen from the flower beds at Greenfield Savings Bank on Main Street. Report issued.

2:09 p.m. — Reporting party states they are not at the location but can see a greenish SUV that pulled into a driveway on Smead Hill Road and the occupants are walking around to the doors to see if they are open. Reporting party called back to state the two males got back into the vehicle and are slowly making their way down the driveway. Officer states he passed the vehicle on Smead Hill Road, and it has no front plate and a Pennsylvania plate. Vehicle stopped. House is for sale. Involved party is a real estate agent who was looking at the property. Reporting party was not notified that they would be looking at the property. No evidence of breaking and entering.

6:50 p.m. — Reporting party from Prospect Avenue states she was punched and is bleeding. Caller states the individual who hit her is outside on the front porch. Other involved party left prior to police arrival.

Friday, June 6

6:20 a.m. — Report of an unwanted person at CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street. Manager requesting police come escort a male party out of the store. Male was not in the store when police arrived but was located near Federal Street School. Officer advised him he is no longer welcome inside CVS. Manager stated the male was yelling and threatening him in front of customers.

9:08 a.m. — A concrete 2-foot-by-3-foot dog sculpture was reportedly taken from a lawn on School Street within the past two weeks. Will check for surveillance in the area.

10:29 a.m. — Report of a scam phone call from someone claiming to be with the U.S. Department of Justice telling the reporting party on Davis Street that their package was seized at the U.S.-Mexico border. Reporting party is simply reporting it and did not provide any information to the scam caller.

4:56 p.m. — Reporting party wants to speak to an officer regarding a disgruntled elderly male who allegedly hit their vehicle with an umbrella at Davis and Cleveland streets. No reported damage done to the vehicle and none observed. Walk-in requesting the incident be documented.

Saturday, June 7

2:36 p.m. — Report of a speeding vehicle on Phillips Street. Dark gray SUV, female driver screaming obscenities at the reporting party. Reporting party states she was in town for the Pride Parade and turned down Devens Street instead of Phillips. Reporting party states she had walked on a person’s lawn and they came up the street and yelled at her and her daughter.

Sunday, June 8

6:52 a.m. — Report of vandalism at the Callahan, Curtiss, Carey & Gates building on Main Street. Caller advises maple syrup was dumped all over the front steps at some point last night.

9:01 a.m. — Report of a pig running in the road on Maple Street. Contacted pig’s owner to retrieve Cheddar. Officer was able to put Cheddar the pig back into its cage.

9:43 a.m. — Golden Nozzle Car Wash on Newton Street reports the owner/operator of a 2021 Nissan Rogue keeps putting bags of trash in their dumpster. Spoke with the owner of the vehicle, who stated he thought it was OK to use the dumpster as he has a monthly car wash pass. He will stop doing it.
