Monday, May 12

12:36 p.m. — Caller reports her son was being harassed at the Greenfield Skate Park on Chapman Street by a male party in a blue sweatsuit who told him he cannot skate at the park and will report him for missing school. Caller just wanted it documented in case other kids are being harassed. Services rendered.

12:44 p.m. — Caller on Green Street reports her phone number is being used for scam calls. Caller had received a call from a female who wanted to inform her that her phone number was being used to contact people saying, “Help, grandma, I’ve been kidnapped.” Information documented.

11:07 p.m. — Reporting party on Norwood Street wants to speak with an officer about a tow truck driver out of Connecticut demanding her driver’s license and credit card info over the phone. Reporting party advised she has all of her credit “frozen” and just felt a little off about the transaction. Wanted it documented. Services rendered.

Tuesday, May 13

1:28 a.m. — Officer stopping a silver 2017 Toyota Camry on the Mohawk Trail near Home Depot. Juveniles in the back seat appeared to be hiding something under the seat. Item located was E&J Whiskey. Seized and disposed of. Citation/warning issued.

3:52 a.m. — Caller reports there is a train that has been idling for approximately 20 minutes behind his house on Hope Street again and it woke him up. Would like the call logged.

8:49 a.m. — Caller states his mother’s car, a white 2022 Kia Seltos, was stolen from Bayberry Court. Vehicle was found to have been repossessed. Advised him to have his mother reach out to the institute that holds the loan.

5:22 p.m. — Call from Pray Drive advises that when she went to use her EBT card, there were no funds to use. Attempted to call the number on the back of the card but did not have any luck.

8:58 p.m. — Report of trespassing individuals at the medical office building on Riddell Street. Reporting party states there are three kids skateboarding at this location. Gone on arrival.

4:55 a.m. — Jason A. Pike, 39, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on Wells Street on charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official. Also arrested was Jesse A. James, 46, of North Cross Road in Gill, on the same three charges. Additionally, Anthony Graham, 32, of Springfield, was arrested on a warrant, as well as on charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug and possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug.

9:44 a.m. — Report of an unwanted person at the AT&T store on Federal Street. Spoke with a store employee who advised the customer is unwanted on the property due to an issue yesterday where they were refusing to leave upon request after AT&T was unable to provide service. Customer was advised and left the property without incident. Not violent. Employee indicated the company would seek a no trespass order.

9:42 p.m. — After a traffic stop on Colrain Street, Sergio Perez, 20, of Springfield, was arrested on a charge of trafficking in 18 grams or more/less than 36 grams of cocaine.

Thursday, May 15

9:37 a.m. — Disturbance reported on Deerfield Street. Reporting party states her neighbor is walking outside in her underwear. Dancing on the sidewalk with a Superwoman costume on. Not breaking any laws, no further action required.

11:04 a.m. — Report of attempted breaking and entering at the Winslow Building on Wells Street. Officer to investigate. Not as reported, subject was trying to get his friend’s attention.

5:19 p.m. — Reporting party reports that in the morning at 4:55 a.m., a truck travels at high rates of speed on Log Plain Road/Adams Road and Bernardston Road. Requesting officers patrol that area at that time of day. Caller states the truck driver is very punctual every workday morning.

11:07 p.m. — Caller at Factory Hollow Road reports a female party is walking toward Gill. Worried she might get hit as she is wearing dark clothing. Area checked to the town line, did not observe anyone walking.

Friday, May 16

12:16 a.m. — Officer conducting a premise check at Poet’s Seat Tower came across a vehicle with several parties outside. All parties were advised of the 10 p.m. curfew. Moved along.

1:20 p.m. — Report of a threat being made at Cherry Rum Plaza on Bernardston Road. Caller reports another male swore at him and threatened him with his cane. Statement provided.

4:54 p.m. — Katrina Courtney Bauer, 42, of Wells Street in Greenfield, was arrested on High Street on two warrants, as well as on charges of resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and vandalizing property.

Saturday, May 17

8:46 a.m. — Unwanted person reported at Baystate Franklin Medical Center on High Street. Male party refusing to leave, yelling and attempting to assault staff. Officers sent. After gathering his belongings, he left the hospital via his motorized wheelchair. Services rendered.

12:58 p.m. — James E. Gaffey, 47, of Montague City Road in Greenfield, was arrested on Montague City Road on two warrants.

5:53 p.m. — Caller from Phillips Street reports two little boys were hitting a smaller kid and took something from them. The two boys were last seen walking toward Western Avenue with a dog. Not as reported, children were playing with LEGOs on the porch. No larceny or assault occurred. Services rendered.

7:51 p.m. — Caller reports seeing a dark green Miata with a tan roof heading west on Smith Street, with someone yelling for help out the window. Driver just graduated from college and was excited. Nothing needed.

Sunday, May 18

4:52 p.m. — Caller reports a four-wheeler is being driven recklessly in the parking lot of Clinical & Support Options on Arch Place. Caller worried the rider will crash into his vehicle. Gone on arrival.

6:11 p.m. — Reporting party requesting to speak to an officer regarding homeless encampments. Caller is seeking information on how they can help. Caller was advised of resources.
