Saturday, May 3

3:07 p.m. — Caller at Oak Courts reports the loss of $250 from her EBT account. Will come to the station to fill out a report, plus provide account information and a copy of the transactions.

11:10 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person on the Mohawk Trail. Caller states there are two people outside his house trying to get in, states this isn’t the first time. Cleared the property and the residence, no sign of any individuals on the property.

Sunday, May 4

12:57 a.m. — Suspicious activity on Bernardston Road. Open door on a vehicle. Registered owner stated that the red 2002 Toyota Tundra got wet inside from the rain earlier in the day and he left the door open so it could dry out. Nothing missing. Owner ended up closing the door.

10:07 a.m. — Reporting party from Cumberland Farms on Federal Street states a male party wearing a green Celtics jersey is yelling at customers as they go in and out of the store. Caught subject screaming at people at Stop Smart. Given a warning.

11:59 a.m. — Caller on Crescent Street states $284 had been taken from her Department of Transitional Assistance card. Reporting party was advised of mass.gov reporting system and the DTA office on Federal Street.

4:08 p.m. — Reporting party states there is a bag of camping supplies in the road that cars are swerving around. Bag was near the entrance to Poet’s Seat Tower on Mountain Road. Bag was moved out of the roadway.

9:16 p.m. — Security alarm sounding at Ryan & Casey Liquors on Main Street. Building is secure. False alarm.

Monday, May 5

7:39 a.m. — Reporting party from Lincoln Street states her neighbor is pushing sticks onto her property. Ongoing issue. Reporting party wants the incident documented. Services rendered.

8:20 a.m. — Reporting party requesting to speak with an officer regarding an incident that occurred at Speedway on Federal Street the night before. Employee was terminated following a discovery that he allegedly stole money, Lottery tickets, etc.

10:17 a.m. — Reporting party from Lincoln Street states her neighbor is rerouting the water drainage flow and it is resulting in her backyard being flooded. Ongoing issue.

7:10 p.m. — Reporting party from Wells Street would like the people across the street to stop using their wood chipper and other heavy equipment at this hour. Services rendered.

Tuesday, May 6

1:38 a.m. — Destiny Amber McDonough, 27, of Riverside Drive in Greenfield, was arrested after a traffic stop on charges of having an expired inspection sticker, a number plate violation, operating a motor vehicle with suspended license and failure to stop for police.

9:06 a.m. — Report of a parking problem at the Olive Street Parking Garage. Red/silver Mini Cooper on the second level does not have the parking brake engaged and was reportedly seen about to roll away. Vehicle did not strike anything. Could not locate.

12:11 p.m. — Reported disturbance investigated at BJ’s Wholesale Club on Colrain Road. Argument over speeding in a parking lot. Two male parties involved. No threats or weapons involved.

4:12 p.m. — Report of unwanted person(s) at Conte Office Interiors on Miles Street. Reporting party stating there are people who have been sleeping in the doorway of the building. One person wears a black cowboy hat, one person wears a Carhartt jacket. Services rendered.

8:36 p.m. — Chester Thadeus Sinclair, 77, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on Main Street on charges of breaking and entering into a building for a felony, trespassing and vandalizing property.

Wednesday, May 7

8:44 a.m. — Report of stolen packages including household items from Union Street. Over the last six months, approximately $200 worth of merchandise, household goods, clothing and cat litter have been stolen from the front porch. Services rendered.

9:55 a.m. — Timothy Pike, 36, of Washington Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

1:14 p.m. — Report of larceny at the skate park on Chapman Street. Caller reports his wife’s purse was stolen from a bench. Contained bank cards, ID and other items.

5:16 p.m. — Noah Richard Foster-Marquis, 27, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on High Street.

7:26 p.m. — Reporting party states there is a white van parked in the cemetery on Wisdom Way that has been there for two hours, would like an officer to check on him. Male party was “being with his mom.” No issues.

Thursday, May 8

1:21 a.m. — Reporting party states there are strange sounds coming from the rear of the Cherry Rum Plaza on Bernardston Road. Sounds like loud banging and sound of tools. Officer advising people are changing a tire.

10:04 a.m. — Troy A. Purcell, 54, of Federal Street in Greenfield, was arrested on two warrants on Main Street.

10:09 a.m. — Report of vandalism at Mill House Apartments on Wells Street. Caller states $1,000 worth of tulips were ripped out of the ground at around 3:45 a.m. Possibly a male and female with backpacks. Cannot identify them via cameras.

3:16 p.m. — Reporting party would like to speak to an officer about a situation that happened to his wife. He reported his wife was followed by a vehicle from a park all the way to Starbucks and it made her uncomfortable. No other problems reported besides being followed. Wanted the matter documented.

4:48 p.m. — Caller at Foster’s Supermarket on Allen Street is concerned about ongoing issues with EBT cards where people pay with their EBT cards and then all the money is removed from their accounts. State went with a new vendor and has been experiencing some issues. Caller wished to have the incident documented and would reach out to the Department of Transitional Assistance.

5:24 p.m. — After a traffic stop on Silver Street involving a box truck that appeared to have the top peeled off, likely from hitting a bridge, Joseph H. Potts II, 36, of Farren Street in Turners Falls, was arrested on a warrant.

7:56 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Washington Street. Candace Lee Maguire, 26, of Washington Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant and a charge of resisting arrest. Also arrested was Jeremiah James Crossman, 34, of Broadway in Lake Pleasant, on a warrant.

9:05 p.m. — Caller on Federal Street is requesting assistance with his headlight. Caller does not know how to replace the bulb. Officer assisted with replacing the bulb.

Friday, May 9

7:57 a.m. — Nicholas Robert Moore, 34, of Davis Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant.

1:20 p.m. — Report of a lost cellphone tracking to Pray Drive. Reporting party had borrowed a vehicle and may have left the cellphone in the vehicle when returning the car to the owner. Assisted in locating the vehicle owner, who was very cooperative, and the lost item was located under some items and returned.

Saturday, May 10

4:13 a.m. — Security alarm sounding at Dollar General on Colrain Road. All windows and doors are secure.

12:48 p.m. — Caller has questions regarding getting a deposit back from a contractor that lives in town. Reporting party states they gave a $5,000 deposit to a local contractor almost a year ago via a contract for siding his house. Has not received any services. Advised of small claims civil issue.

5:22 p.m. — Erik Thor Schacht, 37, of Oak Courts in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

8:53 p.m. — Security alarm sounding at Walgreen’s on Pierce Street. All doors are secure.

Sunday, May 11

1:39 a.m. — Traffic stop near the Greenfield Community College rotary. Randy Gonzalez Moore, 30, of Dorchester, was arrested on charges of OUI-liquor over .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, driving at a rate of speed greater than what was reasonable and proper, a marked lanes violation and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

1:10 p.m. — Caller from RegalCare on Laurel Street reports a resident is missing $200. Employee indicated the matter is being investigated and was advised to call back if it is determined to be a theft. Services rendered.

4:38 p.m. — Reporting party from Oak Courts states he ordered a package and thinks someone stole it. Reported to be $130 worth of items. Services rendered.
