There’s a common assumption that a Kamala Harris administration will be a disappointing continuation of Joe Biden’s. Yet they have previously held two contrasting occupations: one a career politician, and the other a disciplined attorney. Harris, coming from the great state of California, the fifth largest economy in the world — she has greater experience in both the legalities and mechanics of economic prosperity, to better all our lives.
There is also a clear difference in their level of ability and quality of their oration. Biden‘s ineffective speech will be replaced with the voice of a female leader, respected and disciplined. On the other hand, it is easy to romanticize Trump’s jingoistic rhetoric. Yet, our nation’s standing depends on further advancements in global technology. We must not lose hope in the goodness of American engineering nor its benefit to capitalism and continue investing and supporting the ingenuity of both sexes in both corporate and academic settings.
Trump’s violent propagation of anti-government isn’t patriotic, but promising of anarchy, guaranteeing a supreme versus plebeian society. Whether based on finance, race, faith, or merit, it will likely end America as it is known. The end of democracy, if written historically in such fashion, will void the world of hope. Our enemies will have the empirical data to insist that the experiment of democracy is a failure, and we will likely never return our country to the glory our Founding Fathers dreamed of.
