June 23: Spiritual roundtable discussion

LAKE PLEASANT — A spiritual roundtable discussion titled “The Lightning Bolt Conversion of John Newton” will be the focus of services on Sunday, June 23, from 10:30 to noon at The National Spiritual Alliance, 2 Montague Ave.

The discussion will explore how profound personal experience of divinity puts match to the fire of spiritual practitioning. David James will be moderator, and light refreshments and socializing will follow the discussion.

Franklin Tech Health Technology Program graduates earn certifications

TURNERS FALLS — Of this year’s Franklin County Technical School Health Technology Program graduates, six earned their certified nursing assistant certification, seven earned their clinical medical assistant certification, and seven earned their certified phlebotomy technician certification.

To honor their accomplishments, which came following hours of hands-on training and successful completion of exams, an official pinning ceremony was held at Franklin Tech on May 21.
