Montague Police Logs: June 9 to June 15, 2025

1:17 p.m. — Caller from Highland School Apartments on Millers Falls Road reports a Montague Housing Authority employee was mowing the lawn and a rock shot out from underneath the lawnmower, shattering the rear windshield of her vehicle that was in the parking lot. She was advised of her options. Report taken.
Tuesday, June 1011:20 a.m. — Reporting party states a Dodge van was loitering in the area of Ja’Duke Center for Performing Arts on Industrial Boulevard taking pictures of children. Officer advised.
10:23 p.m. — Reporting party states her boyfriend is getting threatened on Turners Falls Road. Would like to speak to an officer. Officer made contact with the reporting party, who stated the problem has been resolved.
Wednesday, June 118:51 p.m. — Reporting party witnessed a white Ford Bronco drive up the ditch at Hillside Plastics on Millers Falls Road, then pull in the parking lot and shut the vehicle off. Would like a well-being check on the driver. Officer states it was an employee who drives through the ditch on a daily basis to work. No issues.
Thursday, June 1210:30 a.m. — Reporting party from Second Street states a woman keeps throwing bags of dog poop into her driveway and front window sills. Caller has some video footage that they would like an officer to review. Reporting party is currently at work, but will call back later.
11:46 a.m. — Walk-in to the station reports her car was hit in the Food City parking lot on Avenue A on June 8. The person that struck her vehicle was confronted by a witness, then drove away. Contact was made with a male party who admitted to hitting the car. Report taken.
9:36 p.m. — Reporting party from Seventh Street states she just got home and it looks like someone has been in her apartment. She is requesting an officer check her apartment before she goes in. Nothing unusual found by officers.
Friday, June 132:41 p.m. — Reporting party on Autumn Lane states there is a brown bear cub in her yard. She will call back for assistance if the bear doesn’t leave.

3:10 p.m. — Caller on Lake Pleasant Road states there is a gray Toyota Corolla that is all over the road and there are children unrestrained in the back seat. Officer advised. Unable to locate.
Saturday, June 147:39 p.m. — Reporting party on Mormon Hollow Road states she put trail cameras up a couple hours ago and they have been stolen, she believes by her landlord. Would like an officer to respond. Officer advised.
Sunday, June 1510:47 p.m — Reporting party from East Main Street states her boyfriend stole her credit card, money, methadone and car keys, and he is now sitting in the car in the parking lot refusing to give them back. Officer states items were exchanged, no issues.
