7:16 a.m. — Reporting party on Third Street states there are six turkey vultures living in the vacant third-floor apartment. She can see them flying in and out of the open window. Reports her cat was killed by one and there are a lot of other animals in the area and she is worried about them. Reporting party was advised the animal control officer would be made aware, however, it might be a wildlife matter.
9:02 p.m. — Reporting party states a white station wagon has been doing 80 mph in a 30 mph zone by his house on Turners Falls Road every night. No tags reported. Officer advised.
11:46 a.m. — Officer conducting a traffic stop at Montague City Road and Rastallis Street. The vehicle, a moped, is to be picked up with a truck and taken home. Citation issued.
1:19 p.m. — Reporting party from Vladish Avenue states there is a large black bear up in a tree in her yard and she is concerned that the bear may attack her dog who is barking at it. The bear was coaxed into the woods by an officer. Services rendered.
5:30 p.m. — Reporting party states he had a gun pulled on him while he was driving and the other party followed closely, yelling and screaming. Referred to an officer. Summons issued.
6:51 a.m. — Caller from Dry Hill Road reports that sometime overnight he had roughly $5,000 worth of items stolen from his house. Reporting party states a four-wheeler, electric bike and other similar items were stolen. He is unsure who took them. Officer spoke to the reporting party and advised him of his options.
1:21 p.m. — Reporting party states that since last week there has been a green SUV parked in the road on Church Street and now there is another car parked there that is making the road impassable. Officer spoke with new tenants moving in. They were very understanding and agreed to move the vehicles.
2:16 p.m. — Reporting party at Food City on Avenue A reports the loss of $800 in EBT benefits. Report taken.

12:46 p.m. — Reporting party from Oakman Street would like an officer to come look at some damage done to her property. Reporting party believes the neighbor stole some rocks from her backyard. No evidence of any theft noticed by the officer. Ongoing issue.
3:54 p.m. — Manager from Aubuchon Hardware on Avenue A reports a male party came to the store and stole about $400 worth of stuff. He has it on video. Officer advised. Report taken.
12:29 p.m. — Store employee from Aubuchon Hardware on Avenue A believes he can see the truck that was involved with a major shoplifting incident yesterday. Reporting party called back to say that the same male party is back in the store. Officer advising the male party is detained. Chad Leblanc, 46, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise, shoplifting by asportation and larceny under $1,200.
12:12 p.m. — Caller reporting debit card fraud at Food City on Avenue A. She has been in contact with her bank. Wants the incident on record.
12:31 p.m. — Reporting party states people are setting up tents on Migratory Way and using kayaks. Officer advised. Spoke to people involved, who have a letter from FirstLight Hydro Generating Co. that they are able to camp on the property during the weekend for a fishing tournament. They will confirm with FirstLight again.
11:37 a.m. — Reporting party from East Chestnut Hill Road states her food stamps were stolen at Food City on Avenue A in the amount of $291. She also states $411 was stolen from her debit card between Food City and Nouria. Report taken.
10:05 p.m. — Reporting party from Third Street is calling in a noise complaint regarding the brewery across the street that is playing music too loud at this hour. Officer advised.
11:11 p.m. — Caller states there is an individual laying/sitting on the ground between Cumberland Farms and the General Pierce Bridge. Reporting party states the individual may need help, as the person on the ground put a thumb up like they needed a ride. Officer checked the entire length of Montague City Road, no one found in the area.
1:56 a.m. — Employee at the Nouria gas station on Third Street advises hearing gunshots in the area. Caller advised a female party and two other individuals came into the store claiming their house was just shot at. Officer checked the area and did not locate any shell casings or damage to the residence. A dark-colored sedan was seen leaving the area at around 1:45 a.m., heading up the hill.
5:34 a.m. — Caller on Third Street reports hearing a loud boom outside that woke her up. Unsure what made the noise. Officer checked the area on Third Street and the alley behind the Cutlery Block but didn’t find anyone.
4:52 p.m. — Caller wanted it on record that he was a victim of EBT theft at Food City on Avenue A around May 11. Report taken.
