Puzzle swap set for Sunday

ERVING — The Erving Public Library will host an all-ages puzzle swap on Sunday, June 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. Attendees don’t need to bring a puzzle in order to take a puzzle.

June 8: Connecticut River diver to share stories

TURNERS FALLS — Annette Spaulding, an experienced scuba diver, will be at the Great Falls Discovery Center, 2 Avenue A, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, to lead a presentation on her experience diving in the Connecticut River.

Spaulding will show video footage from her dives and display interesting items she’s found in the river. This event is free and sponsored by the Connecticut River Defenders.

Photo exhibit from Bernardston Senior Center on display

ERVING — The Bernardston Senior Center’s photography group, which has had its photos on display in the Erving Public Library Community Room since May, invites guests to a reception on Wednesday, June 11, from 5 to 6 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to come meet the photographers, whose work will remain on display through the end of the month. Light refreshments will be served.

Garden Club to meet Tuesday

ERVING — The Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, at the Erving Senior & Community Center to discuss gardening goals and to check in on the new raised garden beds.

Our Lady of Czestochowa Church plans trio of sales

TURNERS FALLS — Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 84 K St. is celebrating Father’s Day by hosting three different sales on Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

These sales include a pierogi sale, yard sale and bake sale, with homemade bake goods and cheese and sauerkraut pierogi available while supplies last.

“We sold out of our potato and cheese pierogi at our Easter Bazaar in less than two hours, so our St. Hyacinth Pierogi Makers decided to make them available at this event,” Parish Council President Walter Hoszkiewicz said in a statement.

Frozen, jumbo-size pierogi are sold in packages of six for $10.
