BERNARDSTON — The Family & Community Event Planning Committee will host a Movie Night in Cushman Park, 19 Church St., on Wednesday, July 23.
Live music by TJ & the Peepers will begin at 7 p.m. and the movie “Jumanji” will start at 8:15 p.m. Attendees are advised to bring their own blankets, chairs and flashlights. Attendees can also bring their own snacks, though snacks, drinks and glowsticks will be available to purchase at the information tent. Alcohol is not allowed.

NORTHFIELD — Dickinson Memorial Library will host “Owls Up Close,” with Marcia and Mark Wilson on Saturday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m.
The Wilsons will bring six owls for attendees to see. The Wilsons highlight the owls’ unique adaptations, habitats and behaviors in the wild while sharing tips on how to find owls nearby. Books on owls will be available to purchase.
The program is funded by a grant from the Northfield Cultural Council. The rain date is Sunday, July 20.
WILLIAMSTOWN — Ella Potee, daughter of Stephen Martin and Ruth Potee of Northfield, recently graduated from Williams College. The Pioneer Valley Regional School Class of 2020 graduate majored in biology and will be teaching science in Brooklyn, New York.
