Next puzzle swap set for June 1

NORTHFIELD — Free used puzzles will be available at Dickinson Memorial Library on Saturday, June 1, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Attendees are advised to park in the back and enter through the side door of the library. Turn left to find the Community Room.

More than 400 puzzles in a range of sizes are available. Participants are invited to take as many puzzles as they want, and can keep them as long as they need. The puzzle swap is offered monthly.

Powers Institute Museum open Sunday

BERNARDSTON — The Powers Institute Museum at 20 Church St. will be open Sunday, June 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. Attendants will be present to assist guests.

Ample parking is located at the rear of the building and the second-floor museum is accessible by elevator.

Migratory Bird Walk set for Sunday

LEYDEN — The Massachusetts Forest Alliance and MassWildlife are holding a Migratory Bird Walk at MassWildlife’s Leyden Wildlife Management Area on East Glen Road from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 2.

The Leyden Wildlife Management Area is managed to provide a diversity of habitats for grassland and upland bird species. Sunday’s bird walk will visit different areas of habitat, allowing participants to hear and see many different migrating species.

Participants should plan to arrive prior to 7:30 a.m. so the walk can start on time. Attendees should also bring binoculars, wear long pants and close-toed shoes, and have insect repellent and tick spray.
