HAWLEY — Only three names are printed on this year’s town election ballot, but additional residents have stepped up to fill the empty seats as write-in candidates.

Polls will be open on Monday, May 6, from 11:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Town Office.

Seeking reelection to three-year terms are Selectboard member Robert MacLean and Hawlemont Regional School District School Committee member Peggy Travers.

There is no one on the ballot for a one-year term as auditor, but current Auditor Ashley Harrison says she would be happy to be written in. The same is true for current Town Moderator Scott Purinton.

Kiley Turner is also willing to be a write-in candidate for a one-year term on the Hawlemont School Committee.
