TURNERS FALLS — The 7th annual Música Franklin “Fun Fest” is returning to Unity Park in Turners Falls on Saturday, May 10 for a free, family-friendly day of music and activities, with students getting the chance to showcase their year of musical growth.

MONTAGUE — After hearing estimates in February that could potentially exceed the town’s $10 million budget, the Selectboard signed a $17,250 contract with Tighe & Bond on Monday to create an alternative demolition design for the former Strathmore mill complex at 20 Canal St.

SPRINGFIELD — A Turners Falls man has pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of child sexual abuse material and is scheduled to be sentenced on July 30.
