Franklin County Summer Softball League registration is underway, with the deadline to register May 30.

The cost is $100 per player, which covers umpire fees, jerseys, socks and the cost of softballs. Players are required to have their own pants and belt. The league runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from June 18-July 23, with games taking place at Murphy Park in Greenfield. It is open to any girl entering grades 8-12 in the fall of 2025.

Players will be distributed evenly among the number of teams and the league will do its best to make sure each team has players that are familiar with one another but these will not be school rosters. Pitchers will be dispersed evenly among teams and every effort will be made to insure that all pitchers are receiving innings throughout the summer.

Registration fees can be checks made out to Greenfield Girls Softball or paid through Venmo @GreenfieldGirls-SoftballLeague, or mailed to Greenfield Girls Softball, PO Box 1522, Greenfield, MA 01302. Any further questions should be emailed to fclsummersoftball@gmail.com. Anyone that might be interested in coaching a team should reach out to complete the required CORI Form.
