Bulletin board: Andy Lesenski, Terry Boyce repeat as club champs at the Country Club of Greenfield

Andy Lesenski’s dominance continued over the weekend.
Lesenski won his sixth consecutive club championship at the Country Club of Greenfield, posting a three-round total of 7-under-par 209 to cruise to a 10-shot win over the rest of the field.
Lesenski posted rounds of 74, 66 and 69 en route to the crown.
Will Conant shot 219 to snag runner-up honors on the men’s side, with Chris Bourbeau (221), Jason Kelton (223) and Justin McCloud (224) rounding out the top five.
On the women’s side, Terry Boyce also scored another club title — her fifth in the last six years — thanks to a two-round total of 158.
Elaine Goodhind finished second (172), while Corrine Sysun won the net title (140) with Elizabeth Archer and Raye Young tying for second (149).
The President's Cup champion was Michael Duclos (150), just ahead of Terry Blanchard (153) and Jackson Day (153). Vice President's Cup champ was John Stacy (140), followed by Brian Luippold (142).

John Adams bested the field at the Northfield Golf Club’s Senior Club Championship on Friday, posting a round of 72 to win by three strokes.
Curt White was second with a 75, and Jim Cadran took third (80).
The Men's Senior Net champ was Ed Marvell (60), followed by Curtis Hunting (61) and Lloyd Grover (63).
Deb Putnam shot 93 to win the Senior Women’s Championship, with Joan Fitzgerald second (96) and Kim Godfrey third (100).
Betsy Cushing took home the net title (73), while Lynnette Scott was second (77) and Janet Small was third (79).
Cetto sinks hole-in-one
It was a Saturday to remember for Lorraine Cetto.
Playing the 11th hole at Crumpin-Fox Club in Bernardston, Cetto notched the third hole-in-one of her career. She used a 9 iron on the 11th hole, with the feat witnessed by Gene Cetto and Jan Puchalski.
People’s Pint Doubles tourney
A wild title match needed a 10-point tiebreaker to decide it, but Brian Lamore and Brian Campbell ultimately captured the championship at the annual People’s Pint Doubles Tournament over the weekend in Greenfield.
The event, sponsored by The People's Pint and the Greenfield Tennis Association, was played at the Highland and Beacon Street courts. Lamore and Campbell outlasted the team of Jared Berthiume and Dave Reading, 3-6, 6-4, 10-6, in the final of the 13-team field.
In the consolation round, the winners were Terry Plotkin and JJ White, which beat Matt Guiltinan and Peter Ghitman, 4-6, 7-6, 10-8 in the final 10-point tiebreaker.
The tournament thanked the Greenfield DPW for its good work in maintaining the courts in collaboration with the GTA.
Post 81 Junior Legion
The Greenfield Post 81 Junior American Legion team locked up a regular season district title with a dominant performance on the mound by Arthur Fitzpatrick on Sunday. Post 81 improved to 14-1 on the season with a 3-0 victory over West Springfield Post 207.
Fitzpatrick worked a complete game, allowing only three hits while striking out nine. Post 81 broke the scoreless game in the bottom of the fourth with a RBI single by Nick Prasol. The game stayed 1-0 into the bottom of the sixth when Conner Bergeron hit a two-run single to extend the lead to 3-0.
Hunter Donahue and Nick Prasol both collected two hits while Luca Siano and Donahue each doubled. Bodie Burke, Hayden Girard and Urijah Jenness added base hits in the victory.
Post 81 will next host North Adams Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Vets Field.
• On Saturday, the Juniors swept Westfield Post 124 in a doubleheader at Jachym Field in Westfield.
In Game 1, a 9-3 win, Bergeron got the win after tossing five innings with two earned runs allowed and four strikeouts. Wayde Bardwell led the way with two hits, including an RBI double. Donahue had a hit with two RBIs, while Girard, George Gutierrez, Burke and Fitzpatrick all chipped in with a hit. Prasol and Greg King each worked an inning of solid relied in the winning effort.
In Game 2, an 8-3 win, Aiden Shea pitched 5 2/3 innings while allowing just one earned run and four strikeouts to pace Greenfield. King finished up with a solid relief stint on the bump.
Guitierrez knocked in two runs in the third inning with a single to put Post 81 on the board. Bergeron led the fifth inning off with a walk and stole second. Donahue singled down the left field scoring Bergeron. Jenness reached on an error, scoring Donahue. Siano then doubled to right center scoring Jenness.
Paxton Phelps led off the sixth with a single, followed by a single by Girard and Bergeron to load the bases. Gutierrez then singled to score a run, and Donahue followed it with a sacrifice fly. Jenness then singled scoring another run for Post 81.
Gutierrez led the way with three hits and Siano added two hits in the victory.
