Bulletin board: Elks Club, Franklin First Credit Union tie 3-3 in GGSL action

Things were fit to be tied at Murphy Park on Tuesday night, as the Elks Club and Franklin First Credit Union tied 3-3 in a Greenfield Girls Softball League Junior Division game.

Elks Club’s offense was led by Lycinia Guillemette and Alyza Rivera, who both went 3-for-4 with a run scored. Aubrey Marshall-Hamberg also hit well and went 2-for-4 with a run scored. 

For Franklin First Credit Union, Eleanor Martin and Grace Hickey both 5-for-5, and Charlotte Cooley went 4-for-5.

Denny’s Pantry 8, Liberty Tax 7 — Andrew Quintana pitched, Vinnie Toothaker had a pair of hits and RBIs and George Bodzinski hit safely in Denny’s win Tuesday. 

Ben Trombley had three hits while Lucas Gould and Jordan Hagar hit safely for Liberty.

RG Penfield 17, St. Stanislaus 8 – Justin Nash was 5-for-5 and Tina Riddell had two hits to power RG Penfield in a game last week at Green River Park.
