Amy Battisti: Hilchey ‘gets things done’

I’m writing to express my support for Tim Hilchey’s candidacy for the Deerfield Select Board.

While I can’t claim to know Tim beyond the occasional conversation at community events, what I do know about him speaks volumes. In every instance I’ve observed, Tim has been a person of action — steadfast, engaged, and deeply committed to serving Deerfield.

From day one, Tim has shown a remarkable dedication to our town. He’s been a tireless advocate, building connections in town, throughout our region, the commonwealth and beyond. Thanks to his efforts, Deerfield has secured critical funding through state and federal grants. These have helped make long-awaited improvements a reality — like safer crosswalks, new sidewalks, and a completed parking area that had been delayed for years. Tim works to keep federal and state dollars here!

Tim Hilchey gets things done. I hope you’ll join me in supporting him for another term on the Select Board.
