In case you missed it, the first annual Triple Trivia fireworks fundraiser for the Friends of Greenfield Recreation was a success. We raised over $1,500 for the Greenfield Fireworks Fund that night, and we hope to make even more in the coming weeks. How, you ask? Well, check this out.

The event was recorded for audio, and is now airing on Greenfield’s own community radio station WMCB-LP 107.9 FM the next two Sundays from 8 to 10 p.m. and Tuesdays 2 to 4 p.m. If you don’t receive the station where you are, you can also stream via their website, WMCB.net.

This aired version invites you to play along at home or in the car (in case you missed the evening or want to relive the terror) to see if you can beat team Always Winning’s score of 52 points (the highest score possible is 81).

Play at the dining table with the family, or at work with your cohorts. And if you follow the prompt to toss us five bucks as a thank you for almost two hours of “triple trivia” magic, you’ll help the Friends help pay for Franklin County’s grandest fireworks display. Please, give it a try and see how you do. It’s a fun listen, and is hosted by yours truly.

Thanks again to the Greenfield Recorder for posting our notice that week. Most of the people who attended said they saw it and it reminded them to come out. Thanks also to WMCB-LP for broadcasting the recording. We love our local media!
