In the March 5 letter “Trump is not the solution to broken Congress,” the writer expressed concern as a leftist that Trump’s intent was to create an authoritarian government. This was framed for him by the recent border visits when Trump said “I can fix it” while Biden said “We can fix it.”

Trump’s wording is based on his using executive orders to put the policies back in place that Biden removed on his first day with his executive orders. Biden uses “we” rather than “I” to create an illusion that this is not a problem that he created himself. He does this also to place blame on House Republicans. My opinion is that Biden does not view the border crisis as a problem — the border chaos and related outcomes were the plan.

Look back at the 2020 Democratic primary debate, when Biden, standing between Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, said he would call for a migrant surge to the border. His mission was accomplished after he issued his first day executive orders and the migrant flow has been uninterrupted since. The only reason Biden went to the border now is because he understands the importance of this issue to voters across the country. He doesn’t care about the migrants and has no regard to American citizens, but he desperately wants to retain power.

Biden could end this any day by executive orders, but he won’t. Trump said he would be a dictator for one day. This was said to convey that there are two issues we must urgently fix: closing the open border and regaining our energy independence. These will be addressed by executive order on his first day to undo Biden’s executive orders that created this mess.

Of course, biased news media sources parse out everything beyond: Trump wants to be a dictator. Look at what is happening, ask why and be skeptical of what you are being told. Are you getting the truth or a narrative?

Watch the State of the Union, listen to the president and also listen to the minority response.
