It was a pleasure to read Mickey Rathbun’s recent piece on plant sales and getting out to view gardens in person in the Recorder’s May 14 Home & Garden section. I’d like to add that the Greenfield Garden Club is hosting their 28th Garden Tour on June 8, which will also include a plant sale. The tour runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with tickets on sale the day of the tour from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John Zon Center, 35 Pleasant St in Greenfield. (Rain date: June 9.)

Tickets are a very affordable $10 per person. Funds raised help support the club’s grant program. The Greenfield Garden Club also supports The Garden Conservancy by purchasing an annual Organization/Club membership. This means that all GGC members are in turn members of the Conservancy. This entitles them to purchase Open Garden Days tickets at the member price of $5 per person, a wonderful perk of GGC membership. The Garden Conservancy also offers a range of educational webinars and other events at member rates.

For more information on the GGC Garden Tour and the Greenfield Garden Club in general, please visit our website: www.thegreenfieldgardenclub.org. We are also on Facebook and Instagram.
