A huge shout-out to everyone who played a role in Bob Manners’ life celebration, held Saturday at Greenfield Community College. It truly reflected his life well lived. I am especially grateful for the social media link that allowed those who could not attend to view the event live — well done.

Just one more short add-on to his rollover accident. He not only requested his own helicopter, but after his recovery he put together a ConEd lecture, “The Other Side of the Stretcher” that he shared with his fellow EMTs, not just for credit but to give us a perspective of being a patient. Certainly a great teaching moment only Bob would think of doing.

It was an honor to know and work with Bob, a dedicated person to his family and careers.
