SUNDERLAND — For the fourth year in a row, every race on the town election ballot is uncontested.
Polls will be open on Saturday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sunderland Public Library, 20 School St.
Sunderland has not seen a contested race on its ballot since four candidates ran for two School Committee seats in 2021, although a write-in candidate did mount a campaign seeking to claim a School Committee seat in 2024.
The candidates, who are all caucus nominees, are as follows:
■Moderator, one-year term — Thomas Fydenkevez.
■Selectboard, three-year term — Nathaniel Waring, incumbent.
■Board of Assessors, three-year term — James Kowaleck, incumbent.
■Board of Health, three-year term — Daniel Olanyk.
