Regarding the Feb. 21 City Council meeting, the role of the council is to adopt a fiscal year budget, adopt or amend city ordinances and approve appropriations and funding requests. It is not in the business of making resolutions of national/global political scope. In addition, the display of antisemitism was appalling and disturbing.
