Dan Thomas Trio to perform in Warwick

WARWICK — In what marks the third of five events to be presented in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Dan Thomas Trio will perform at Town Hall, 12 Athol Road, on Saturday, May 10, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Dan Thomas is an internationally touring, multi-genre guitarist, composer and bandleader based in the Pioneer Valley. The Dan Thomas Trio explores a repertoire of music ranging from classic jazz standards to modern pop hits, Afro-Latin grooves and West African polyrhythms. Thomas will be joined by bassist Chris Ball and drummer Dave Noonan.

Refreshments will be available during the performance. Donations will be accepted to support future events.

Digital technology class coming to Senior Center

BERNARDSTON — Andrew Fluitt from Revitalize CDC will help folks learn how to better use technology during a class at the Bernardston Senior Center on Wednesday, May 14, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own device or they can use the Senior Center’s computers. Assistance in accessing Social Security will also be available. Folks should call 413-648-5413 to register.

Northfield Senior Center hosting Memory Cafe

NORTHFIELD — A Memory Cafe is planned for Wednesday, May 28, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Northfield Senior Center, with this month’s activity being flower bed planting with Carol Pike.

This program provides support and socialization for adults dealing with memory-related issues and their caregivers. A light lunch will be provided. If folks have a spade to use for planting, they can bring it from home.

Barbecue chicken meals available

NORTHFIELD — St. Patrick’s Church at 80 Main St. will offer to-go meals on Saturday, May 17, from 3 to 5 p.m.
