Holly Lankowski: Wolfram has a plan

I have lived in Deerfield since 1977. Over the years we have had some hurdles with funding projects and lining up priorities. We seem to jump around with what order we have for town projects. We need a plan for all town projects, not just the campus center. We have some terrific new staff at the Town Hall. We need to focus on our needs to develop long-range goals of what we expect to accomplish in 5, 10, and 15 years. We need to use their expertise to guide us forward.

David Wolfram has this in mind. He is focused on seniors, septic system households and taxes. He has a plan. David knows we need a senior center. He wants to get our seniors into the Congregational Church property when the Tilton Library re-opens. He knows this is a patch until we can develop a comprehensive plan. David wants to help septic property owners (60% of our residents) to use our updated wastewater treatment plant to reduce their disposal costs. He has a plan to get this implemented.

David is fiscally conservative and wants a pause on new projects to assess needs over wants. With our taxes in mind, he wants to help develop a plan for Deerfield’s future to enhance our town at a pace that our residents can afford. David is a kind, soft-spoken advocate for Deerfield and has given much to our beautiful town. I am insulted at the suggestion that I am supporting David Wolfram because he is a lifelong Deerfield resident. My vote for David Wolfram is because he is the best candidate. Please join me in voting David Wolfram for Deerfield Selectboard.
