A 48 year-old Gill native, Pillsbury was experiencing stomach pain while on vacation in April, and a trip to the doctor’s office led to a diagnosis of stage four, metastatic Cholangiocarcinoma – a rare form of cancer within the bile ducts connecting to the liver. As this cancer leaves no tracers in the blood like other cancers, discovery of the illness is often incidental, and too late.

When farming is in the family, the land calls no matter where else life takes you. Aaron Moody, owner-operator of Moody Family Farm, was born in Greenfield, and from the beginning, he knew that he loved working with animals. Three generations of Moody’s family farmed, and young Moody occasionally worked at his uncle’s dairy farm while growing up.
It seems as though the person currently in charge of our military finds that it is necessary for him to send troops into California. It’s the right thing to do, he says. Let’s put the shoe on the other foot — when hundreds of of people were violently breaking down the doors to the U.S. Capitol, injuring 174 police and within 36 hours, five people died. Where was this head of our military man? Even at the pleas of his closest advisors and family members he was just taking in the action of his “patriots ” on television. This not a person to be in charge of our country nor anything else. His head will swell June 14 at the big parade. Look Mr. Putin, look Kim Jong-un, I have a bigger better parade than you.

BERNARDSTON — A man was taken to Baystate Franklin Medical Center with minor head, neck and shoulder injuries Thursday after a mechanical failure caused the back wheel of his motorcycle to lock, throwing him across Brattleboro Road, according to Bernardston Police Sgt. Thomas Chabot.
